SSI seek applications for the position of 2nd Deputy Head of Delegation at 2019 World University Games Naples, Italy

Student Sport Ireland invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following supporting role to the Irish delegation to travel to the 30th World University Games to be hosted by the city of Naples, Italy from the 3rd – 14th July:

  • 2nd Deputy Head of Delegation (1 position)

The successful applicant will be an energetic experienced team leader, problem solver with a can do attitude who is comfortable working in a challenging and demanding environment, an empathetic people person with the ability to work with strong minded highly motivated ambitious young adults.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, Tuesday, 12 June.

Potential candidates should note that in applying they are confirming that they have received all prior authorisation to apply for the role as appropriate (this authorisation must be received before submission of application); are confirming their availability to attend SSI High Performance Committee meetings in Dublin during 2018 and 2019, and to travel to the 30th World University Games in July 2019, and if is successful in the role in 2019, the 31st World University Games in 2021.

Potential applicants should also note that the interview date has been provisionally scheduled for Friday, 22nd June at Sport HQ.
