SSI members at the 2024 Networking Event at the Hodson Bay, Athlone.

The popular SSI Networking Event is held annually every May. Coming at the end of the academic year, the event has developed to become a must attend for SSI members and student leaders eager to catch up with colleagues from around the country, to share information and learn of new trends and developments within the sector.

Coordinated by the SSI office, the event is attended by student sport leaders and student committee members, Directors of Sport, Sports Development Officers and Managers, sports specific officers and NGB representatives.

The event includes case study presentations, workshops, team building activities, guest speakers, the event dinner and from 2024, incorporates the SSI AGM.
