Everyone at Student Sport Ireland is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our great friend and colleague Gerry Anderson.

Gerry passed away peacefully on Monday evening surrounded by his family following illness.

A long serving GAA Officer at IT Tallaght and TU Dublin Gerry was a hugely respected, much loved, and active member of the SSI network.

Gerry rarely missed an SSI members event, particularly the annual Networking Event and December Assembly, and was a current serving member of the SSI Finance Committee.

Chairman of St. Anne’s GAA Club and a passionate Dublin GAA supporter, Gerry was full of life, a great character, and brilliant company.

On behalf of all at Student Sport Ireland our thoughts are with Gerry’s family, his friends at this very difficult time.
