FISU World University Golf and Triathlon Championships 2024

On August 27th 2024, five Irish golfers led by Barry Fennelly, Manager of the Paddy Harrington Golf Scholarship at Maynooth University, travelled to Kuortane-Seinajoki in Finland to compete at the FISU World University Golf Championships 2024.

The Irish men’s team placed 8th out of 15 teams, with the Irish ladies placing 11th out of 15. Individual results are as follows;

The FISU World University Triathlon Championships 2024 was a 2-day event that took place on August 30th and 31st in Gdansk, Poland. Four Irish students competed and were coached by Paddy McLaughlin and Matthew Crawford.

Ireland placed 17th in the mixed-relay event of the competition and the individual results from the event are below;
