Please find below the key outcomes from the CUSAI AGM held on the 23/02/2012 at the University of Limerick.

1. Board and Committees: To view the membership of the 2012 CUSAI Board, Intercollegiate Affairs and International Affairs Committees click here.

2. After 10 years in the role Mr. Brian Mullins stepped down as Hon. Secretary to the Association; Ms. Michelle Tanner was confirmed as the Association’s new Hon. Secretary;

3. It was agreed that all institutions offering FETAC Level 6 programmes or higher were eligible to affiliate to CUSAI;

4. There is to be no increase in Affiliation Fees for 2012;

5. An individual institute’s affiliation fee will be based on the number of full time undergraduate and postgraduate students attending the institute;

6. The membership categories of Designated Colleges and Colleges of Further Education to be discontinued resulting in the Association having one membership affiliation category, that of CUSAI Member;

7. The facility whereby non CUSAI affiliated members could participate in CUSAI organised competitions on payment of an entry fee of €150 is to be discontinued. From 1 September 2012 only CUSAI affiliated members will be eligible to participate in CUSAI competitions;

8. The role of Hon. PR Officer is to be deleted from the Articles of Association with the role’s responsibilities transferred to the CUSAI Office,

9. The proposed amendments to the eligibility guidelines for third level sport were adopted. Please click here to view the updated guidelines.

Next years AGM will be hosted by University Ulster Jordanstown on the 21st February.
