 Women’s Footballl Team at the 2017 World University Games Opening Ceremony, Taipei, Taiwan 

Student Sport Ireland invite applications for the roles of Head Doctor and Head Physiotherapist to the Irish delegation to compete at the 30th World University Games to be held in the Italian City of Naples from the 3rd – 14th July.

The World University Games are now an established part of high performance programmes and are recognised as a key stepping stone on the young high-performance athlete’s developmental pathway. In addition, the Games provide a significant opportunity for officials seeking to manage/coach/work in a high performance global multi-sport environment.

It is envisaged that Ireland will be represented in 6 – 9 sports at the Games with an estimated delegation of 80 – 100 members. The Ireland delegation to the 2017 WUGs held in Taipei City, Taiwan consisted of 64 athletes and 26 team officials.

The closing date for application is 5pm on Tuesday, 18th September. Applications received after this time and date will not be considered.

Student Sport Ireland will consider all applications received by the deadline date and may call on short-listed candidates for an interview.
